Deeks brought Alina to KC and let her hold her daughter. Both women looked exhausted, but he knew they wouldn't rest until they'd calmed down some and that it probably wouldn't happen until at least Gibbs arrived.

Four hours later, Gibbs came into the boatshed, a look of worry on his face when he saw the two girls sitting together on a couch, looking terrified.

He hugged them both, his hand gently passing over Alina's soft hair. He'd seen pictures of her on Facebook, but never gotten to meet her yet. Then he looked around for Callen.
