Kaya grinned. "Of course it is."

"So got any ideas?"

"It needs paint. A bright colour."

"Like a purple or a blue? Or like yellow?"

"Light blue, light purple, they should be okay."

"Good. That's what I was thinking. Maybe some accents of gray or silver, but subtle, not flashy."

"That would look great!"

She showed her the layout of how she'd intended to set up everything, the kitchen, the stage, dancing area, and tables.

"I think we need to move the tables back a bit."

She nodded. "I'm going to have a bar, over here, and on the under 21 night, we'll do soft drinks or mocktails."

"So I can come?"

"Yeah. One night a week, we'll have a night where kids your age, maybe a little older, can come and have fun. If it goes good, we might have two later on."

"That would be so cool!"

She smiled. "I don't want the tables to be booths. I want them to be special. Any ideas?"

"Round, with like marble on top. And the chairs should be soft, we could make them look like thrones or something."

"Awesome, sweetheart. That's a great idea."

"Thank you."

The time flew by as they made plans until she looked up and it was later than she'd told Natalia she'd be home. "I need to call your mom and then I need to take you home. She'll be worried."

"Okay."

"We can work on it later. I promise. It'll be awhile before we can get everything up and running."

"Okay. Can I stay at your house tonight?"

"We'll see what your mom says. Do you have homework?" She asked, pulling out her cell phone.

"No."

She called Natalia.

"Rosa? Is everything alright?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. We got caught up and lost track of time."

"Okay. It's okay."

"She wants to know if she can just stay the night. I can bring her home whenever you want and it'll give you and Dad some quiet time too."

"Are you okay if she stays?"

"Absolutely. I love spending time with her."

"Okay. She can stay. Bring her home around lunch time."

"I will. Thank you." As she hung up, she put an alarm on her phone to help her to remember, afraid if she was late a second time, Natalia wouldn't let her take Kaya so much.

"Can I stay?"

"Yep."

"Yay!"

She grinned, but her grin failed. "Oh, shoot. One more phone call, then we can go." She walked out to the car with her, calling Ryan.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me."

"Where are you?"

"With Kaya. I know we had plans tonight, but can I get a raincheck?"

"Sure. You two okay?"

"Yeah, we just wanted a girl's night. I'll make it up to you tomorrow, I promise."

"You better. I'll be expecting something special."

She blushed. "Love you. Talk to you tomorrow." She hung up. "Okay, grocery store it is. Something to make pizza with."

"Yummy!"

"You want to rent a movie too? I haven't unpacked any of mine yet."

"Okay."

They walked through the grocery store, picking healthy toppings for their pizza and whole wheat crust. She let Kaya pick the movie.

"Frozen! I love this movie."

"Have you seen it? Olaf is the cutest!"

"You're going to love it. Olaf is the snowman, and he can pull himself apart without breaking."

"Really!"

Soon, they were seated and eating, Frozen almost halfway over.

"See? It's so amazing!"
