"No, but still."
"Still what?"
"I still want him dead."
"Please."
"Okay." Ryan kissed her and followed Horatio.
She felt the kiss as it lingered, warming her for the first time in days.

Three long hours later, Natalia's SUV pulled up. She and Kaya got out, getting dinner out as well, and with one look, Horatio and Ryan both got out as well. Ryan opened the door, allowing Kaya and Natalia to go in first with the food. Mandy was asleep on the couch, curled into a protective ball. Ryan hurried over to check on her. She flailed out when he woke her.
"It's okay."
She nodded, rubbing sleep out of her eyes.
"Hungry?"
"A little," she admitted, not remembering the last time she'd eaten.
"Okay. Nat and Kaya brought dinner over."
"Kaya?" Regardless of how she felt about her dad, she loved her little sister.
"Yeah. Nat couldn't get her to stay home."
She let him help her up and walked into the kitchen. Kaya smiled. She ran to hug her sister.
Horatio marveled at Kaya not being put off by the way Mandy looked and winced when he saw his daughter wince. "K, careful."
"Sorry Mandy. I missed you."
"I missed you too, sweetheart." It looked like she'd been knocked off kilter.
"Why don't you two go sit down? We can bring plates," he offered, worried about Mandy.
"I'm helping mum. After dinner, can we watch a movie together Mandy?"
"Absolutely." She smiled.
"Ryan and I can do this. You and Natalia go sit with Mandy," he said, willing to do anything that kept him in Natalia's good graces as well as protected his daughter.
"Mum?"
"Go sweetheart. It's a school night, so we won't be staying too long." Natalia said.

"You too, Nat." Horatio took the dish from her. "Please." He meant for her to please talk to his daughter, thinking she was one of the few people who could help her right now.
