KC smiled, letting her friend hold Ali for the first time.
"She's so adorable!" Kensi smiled. She was enjoying herself.
"She likes you." There was a huge smile on the tiny little girl's face.
"I love her too."
KC still looked exhausted but she, like the boys, couldn't stop watching. It was just proof to her that she'd made the right choice as far as guardian.
"Can I keep her KC?" asked Kensi jokingly.
"Not a chance," KC said without hesitation.
"I was only joking," said Kensi, her feelings slightly hurt, and a sad expression on her face. She put Ali in Callen's arms and turned away to sit with Deeks.

Callen looked over at KC who looked like she might pass out any minute. "Deeks, hold..." He put the baby in Deeks' arms before his friend could argue and helped KC settle into a seat.

Callen took KC's pulse, not liking how pale she seemed. He thought both she and Alina were sent home from the hospital too early, but they assured him that it was how it was done.

"If you won't go to the doctor, baby, at least go lay down for a little while. Kensi can go with you if you want." Callen shot a pleading look at his friend. When KC had hurt Kensi's feelings, it was the first clue to him that she was not herself.
