Kate opened the door, holding Johanna in her arms. She was happy to be home and couldn't wait to talk to Alexis. But her plan went on hold when she saw her friends and family there.
"Hey guys," said Kate quietly so she wouldn't wake her daughter.

Martha and Alexis automatically went to Kate and the baby, quietly fussing over the newest addition to their family and making sure Kate was comfortable. Castle gave Ryan a grateful smile as the other father in the room helped him unburden from some of the packages he was holding.
