Natalia was ready, she was excited. She was getting married. Although her last marriage had been a disaster, she knew she had made a wonderful choice with Horatio as her soon to be husband.

"Come in."
"Need some help?" She and Kaya came in together, both already dressed and ready.
"I'm ready. How long?"
"Not long now. Everyone's here. Eric went to get Dad, Ryan's helping Kyle, and Calleigh's trying her best to keep the flower girl out of mischief."
"How is Mari?"
"Very anxious to begin." The little girl had her father's patience instead of her mother's.
Natalia laughed. "That's about right. Is Frank ready?"
"I don't think he's ever been this nervous and that includes at work. It's kinda cute. And everyone's here."
"Then lets go."
They walked out together, Lina on one side of Natalia and Kaya on the other. Lina let Ryan walk Kaya up the aisle and walked up the aisle on her brother's arm instead, trying not to laugh as Calleigh finally had to hold Mari's hand and walk with her to keep her on focus. Natalia could see Horatio at the end of the aisle as she walked there with Frank.

He smiled at her, the shy yet warm smile that made him seem decades younger and only surfaced on rare occasions, usually around their family.
"I love you H."
"I love you," he whispered back, holding her hand, focusing on no one around them, not their family, their friends, or the guards that were still present, even then, but only on her and the words they were repeating.
"I can't wait to get this out of the way so we can enjoy the night."

The timing could not have been more perfect if someone had watched for Natalia and Horatio's kiss. As soon as they were pronounced man and wife, the earth seemed to be rocked on it's axis. Calleigh threw herself onto her daughter, ignoring the pain in her own body to keep Mari safe. She could see others dropping around them. Eric tried to get to Calleigh as Horatio got Natalia down, trying to watch around for his kids.

Calleigh watched as Eric dropped to the ground. She wanted to run to him but didn't want anything to happen to Mari. Kyle didn't question before protecting Kaya, trying to keep flashbacks at bay at the same time as he tried to calm his new little sister. Ryan immediately tried to get to Lina but dropped as he felt something hit him.
No one could do much of anything besides cover and pray until the shooting finally stopped. Tripp and some of the cops that were guests automatically started to work as Alexx tried to start triaging, hearing someone else call it in and knowing that ambulances would bring medics that would eventually help.
Calleigh finally got up and grabbed her daughter, rushing to Eric to see if he was okay. Eric groaned, trying to get up, but every time he tried, a sharp pain flooded him.
"Eric? Are you okay?" Calleigh asked in fear.
"You and Mari. Are you okay? The baby?" All he cared about was his family.
"We're fine. I'll get Alexx to check the baby though. But you are hurt, aren't you?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
"Where?"
"Don't know. Just hurts." He tried to look around.
"Right now, my concern is you. I can check on the others later."
Blood was coming from under his shirt. "Guessing my shoulder."
"Let me see."
He let her get close enough to see, hearing Mari whisper, "Daddy boo boo."
"Yeah, baby. Daddy's got a boo boo. It'll be okay. Mommy and Aunt Alexx are going to make it all better."
Calleigh quickly determined that the wound wasn't too bad. She called Alexx over to have it bandaged until they could get to a hospital.
"Alexx, how is everyone?" Eric asked.
"Honey..." She looked around at the madness. "I don't think any of the guests are hurt. I don't know about the family yet. I'm working on it." She talked while she bandaged him. "Just hang on. Ambulances are coming."
"I'm fine. So is Mari. I can check on the others while you help injured people. I can get the guests that aren't hurt out of here." Calleigh picked up her daughter and headed off to check on the team. She found that Natalia was hurt as well as Horatio.
"Nat, Alexx is coming. She's finished with Eric. Where's Kaya? And Lina and Kyle?"
"Kyle's trying to help. I don't know where Lina and Kaya are."
"I'll find them for you." Calleigh set off before Natalia could protest.
