This seemed to be okay with KC as she nodded, turning her attention back to Callen as Kensi and Deeks walked to the hall. "You okay?" Deeks asked Kensi as soon as they were out of the room.

He nodded. "I was panicked when I realized what was going and you had already gone. I thought..." It was why he'd gotten up, even when under normal circumstances he shouldn't have been able to stand, and went after her, doing everything he could to protect his partner.
