Mac stood. "You are a horrible woman. If you don't leave right now, I'll kick your ass."

"Sarah," Harm said gently. "We should go." He didn't want her upset but it seemed too late for that.

"Good idea." Their evening was ruined, thought Mac as she grabbed her bag and jacket.

Harm paid the bill and left a tip before walking out with her, a protective arm around Mac.

"She seems really horrible Harm."

"She seems really horrible Harm."
"Remember Singer?" He knew she did. "About like that."
"Great. She isn't going to give up, is she?"
He shook his head. "She never did. Drove Meg crazy. The only time I ever remember seeing a moment of...humanity was when Meg was shot."
"What happened to Meg?"
He told her about the Russian spy coming into JAG headquarters to get a fax, how he and Meg had intercepted it but put it aside without really thinking much about it, how he had left her alone to do paperwork that he should have been helping with. "I don't know why Krennick was in the office, but if she hadn't been..."
"That's not your fault Harm. And maybe that was what she needed to see to be kind."
"Didn't work long. By the time Meg was back at work, Krennick was her same awful self again. Only the Admiral had any sway over her, and then not much."
"I'd like to hurt her."
"She gives a whole new meaning to the word harassment."
"Talk to the admiral about it."
He shook his head. "She hasn't worked in D.C. in years, since you and Bud started I guess. Tonight will be the end of it, I'm sure."
"If it isn't, talk to the admiral, or let me at her."
He smiled, kissing her head. "Don't worry about her, Sarah. Don't let her ruin our night anymore than she already has."
"Who says the night is ruined? I have an idea."
"Sounds promising," he smiled.
Mac took his hand and led him to the car.

Grace and A.J. were finishing up their run, planning on making their date night takeout in front of an old movie, his night to pick the movie, hers to pick the food.

Krennick saw them and made a beeline for them, fake tears on her cheeks.

Grace's heart automatically melted and she stopped teasing A.J. as the blonde approached. She'd never seen her before, but she had a soft spot for anyone in trouble or upset.

AJ on the other hand, watched wearily as she approached, not liking the fact that she was there.

"Do you need some help?" Grace asked her. "Can we call someone?"
