As soon as Kensi moved off his chest, Deeks ran to get a nurse. KC made a mental note to thank him later as she moved to his bed side. "Hey, baby," she whispered, her voice breaking, tears starting. "Welcome back." She looked like she'd fought for every moment of his past two weeks, and had, but he was awake. Nothing else mattered.

She nodded. "I'm here, babe. Kensi and Deeks are too." She whispered to Kensi, "Call Sam."
