He attacked Joelle, hoping it would give Kensi time to get to safety, surprised at how capable Joelle was, but then again he wouldn't see most of Kensi or KC's skills by just looking.

Kensi climbed out from under Joelle and ran, tossing her gun to Deeks.

Deeks felt like screaming in frustration, not always a rare feeling near Kensi. "Just tell them to watch their backs, and that previous little girl. I'd hate it if anything happened to her," with that, Joelle left .

Deeks led Kensi back inside to where Callen and KC were waiting, watching out the window. It was all KC could do to hold Callen with her, knowing Kensi and Deeks could take care of things.

"G, can you and Deeks take Alina? Find her a bottle? Then eat something, okay?" KC was trying not to cry, trying not to fall apart, but there was also rage there, not at Callen anymore, but at anyone who would threaten her family, Kensi included.
