"I told her that you were going to work and that you would be really busy. I'll ask Nat if she wants Kaya at the hospital and if she does, I'll come back and get her. Otherwise, I'll come and get her and take her out a bit so she doesn't get hurt."

She nodded and then paused, her hands shaking. She looked up at him. "You would tell me, right? If it's bad enough that I need to try to reach Kyle." She knew he would understand what she was really asking, if it was bad enough that her father would die this time.

She looked at Eric as if she weren't sure if the girl should come or not. She would have asked Horatio but that was impossible. "Yes. Bring her. If she finds out we're keeping this from her, it'll be worse." She finally said.
