Ryan ran from house to house, trying to get people out of the buildings and safely evacuated. He hadn't thought it strange that no one had called and he didn't have time to try to call any of them. He and Walter just had a few more places to hit and then they could go back to the lab.
"Ryan! We need to leave! Now!" shouted Walter as he turned to see things flying around.
"Two more houses!"
"No! We have to leave!"
"Fine! Leave!" He headed to the next house.
"Wolfe! Don't be an idiot!"
Ryan could see what he would want someone to do for Lina or their family and he couldn't quit until everyone was safe. Walter knew it was a losing battle. He chased Ryan until they finished their job and tried to then get him to listen. He saw the tornado and knew they couldn't escape in time. All he wanted was to get back to Lina and he couldn't even do that. He hoped that Horatio had her safe and somewhat under control as the world went black.
"Ryan? Hey, Wolfe! Open your eyes!" yelled Walter after dragging his friend into some shelter.
Ryan moaned, but didn't open his eyes. Walter checked Ryan for a pulse, since he couldn't hear anything. His pulse was weak, but present.
"Come on man, wake up!"

Mari was crying and the only person who could comfort her was her daddy. Eric paced helplessly, trying again and again to reach Calleigh's cell phone, his eyes on Horatio.
"Dad! Where's Lina?" asked Kaya.
"She's getting changed, sweetheart. She's in the locker room."
"Okay. Where's mum? And Aunt Calleigh? And Ryan and Walter?"
"I don't know, sweetheart. We'll find them, okay?" He was getting some sort of signal now, but still couldn't get the girls, so he was about to call Ryan when Tripp's call came in.
"Horatio, bad news. Natalia's hummer was just found in a tree. The girls aren't inside."
Horatio's eyes made contact with Eric's. "Where?"
"About a mile from Calleigh's place."
"Okay, Tripp. Check the house and let me know. I'll call you back in a few minutes." He hung up. "Kaya, go get Lina for me."
"Okay. Should I take Mari with me?" She sensed something was wrong.
"Let her stay with her daddy for a few more minutes before she plays with you and Lina, okay?"
"Okay." Kaya ran off.
"Tripp found the Hummer, wrecked against a tree. The girls aren't in it, but it's about a mile from your place. He's going to check to see if the girls are there."
"I hope they are," said Eric as he hugged Mari.
She clung closer to him, sniffing.
"It's okay honey, it's okay."

Lina looked up when Kaya ran in. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" She asked, putting away the towel she'd been using to dry her hair.
"Dad wants you."
"Did he find Nat or Ryan?" She asked, putting her boots back on with the loose jeans she'd found in Natalia's locker and one of Ryan's shirts.
"I don't know."
She nodded, walking quickly back with her. "I'm sure your mom's okay. She's smart. She knows how to take care of herself."
"I miss her."
"I know. So do I." She knew Natalia was about the only person who could truly calm her down inside right now, not just appear to be calm for her dad and the kids' sakes.
"I want to help."
"You can help me with Mari when Dad and Eric go back out."
"They can't go out now!"
"The storm's passed, sweetheart. All that's left is the clean up."
"Are you sure?"
She stopped and instead of going to her dad, she took Kaya to the nearest outside window.
"It's still raining."
"But the sky's lightened up a lot and the wind's died down."
"That's good?"
"Yeah. It's like a hurricane, sweetie. When it's really dark outside, when the wind's bad, it's close, it's coming. When the storm's gone, when it's lightened up, when the wind's still, then it's over. And see? The sky's not green anymore. If we went outside, it wouldn't be as humid and heavy as before either."
"Okay."

Tripp knocked on Calleigh's door, knowing which one it was. "Calleigh? Natalia? Are you here?"
"Frank?" called Calleigh.

"Eric's got her at the lab. Lina brought Kaya there too. The girls, Eric, and Horatio are all right, but no one's heard from Wolfe or Walter yet."

"Horatio and Kaya are anxious to see you as well," Tripp said, hiding a smile, escorting the girls to his cruiser.

Calleigh breathed a sigh of relief when they reached the lab and she almost ran inside to find her daughter. Eric was walking with the toddler, not arguing with her about her thumb being in her mouth, and rubbing her back, whispering softly in Spanish.
"Mari!" Calleigh picked her daughter up and hugged her tightly, afraid to let go.
"Mamamamamamamama." The little girl held her close. Eric hugged Natalia, glad to see that she was unhurt, and shot a grateful look at Tripp before kissing Calleigh. "H, Lina, and Kaya were headed to H's office I think."
"I'm on my way there," said Natalia.
"Eric, I was so scared."
"I know, babe. I know. It's okay. You're safe now." Now that he knew Calleigh and Natalia were okay, it was killing him not to know about Ryan.
"Frank said you can't find the boys."
He shook his head. "H and Lina have both tried. No one can reach them."
"We need to find them."
"I know that, babe. You need to stay here with Mari."
"Promise you will check in every hour? I don't want to lose you."
"I don't want to lose you either."
"Please be careful."
"Promise."
"I love you."
"Love you too," he whispered, kissing her again.
Calleigh watched him leave and then hugged her daughter again. ******** Horatio's eyes lit up as he saw Natalia approaching.
"H! Where's Kay? Lina?"
He indicated the office where Lina was trying desperately to reach Ryan once again and Kaya was doing her homework so she had more time with Natalia when she arrived.
Natalia headed into the office. "Kaya? Lina?"
"Mom!" Homework was abandoned as Kaya ran to her mom and held her as if she would never let go.
"Baby, I'm so glad you're okay."
"I missed you...."
"I missed you too honey."
Lina wiped away her tears, managing a smile for her friend, but she couldn't hide the worry on her face. "Hey." She hugged Natalia gently.
"The guys are going to find them."
"I'm going with them. I can't...I can't just sit here anymore."
"I know. Be safe."
She almost said that she didn't matter, that she would do what she had to in order to get Ryan home, but knew it wasn't what Natalia or Kaya needed to hear right then. "I'll see you soon, Kay. Ryan will be with me, I promise."
"Bring him home."
She nodded, wanting to say so much more to Natalia, but knowing Kaya needed her more right then. She went out as Horatio went in. He kissed Natalia, something he never did at the lab. "Let me know if you two need anything."
"Be careful H."
"Love you." He smiled down at Kaya before he left.
"Love you daddy."
"Love you too, baby girl. Take care of Mom, okay?"
"I will."

He met Eric and Lina at the front door just in time to overhear Eric confess that he hadn't told Calleigh where he was going, he didn't want her to worry about him or about Ryan, but concentrate on being safe and taking care of Mari.

"He's right, Eric. I can't believe you would consider NOT telling her." Lina told Eric.
"I know Cal. She'd want to go right back out there and she's better off with Mari."
