"I think she did. Can you ask her? And keep an eye on her for me, please." It bothered him that his daughter seemed almost in shock, like she wasn't processing the pain from her injuries, and he couldn't fight with her and Natalia too.

Lina was torn between wanting Ryan and wanting to be anywhere else when he approached. He was one of two people who could make her feel better, but he couldn't fix anything and he knew her too well.
