"I think you're tired, Kens."
"I'm fine."
"Do you want me to get KC back in here? Or your mom?"
"I don't want you to go."
"Okay." He settled back in the chair again.
"Deeks, I'm scared..." she whispered.
"Don't be scared, Kensi. You're safe."
"I know. KC would kill anyone that tried to hurt me. But I can't help feeling that way."
He nodded. "I know."
"How did this happen?"
"I don't know, Kens. Hetty's looking into it and the boys are going to go help once they knew you were okay."
"The boys? Do you mean those two that came in before? And is Hetty our boss?"
"Yeah. Callen is the one with the short hair. He's the one who KC's dating. And the bald one is married to Michelle. They're partners who work with us."
"Who's Michelle?" She thought a second. "Wait, did you say KC has a boyfriend?"
"Michelle's a woman we've worked with on a few cases. Yeah, KC has a boyfriend. A little girl too." He pulled out his phone, showing her the picture of his two favorite girls.
"That's Ali. She's so cute."
"Ali, you remember," he said, not really surprised, smiling.
"Of course I remember Ali. She's my special little friend."
"You didn't remember her daddy or godfathers or your mom."
"That's weird, but Ali has a special place in my heart. I can't forget her, even if I tried\."
"When you go home, you can see her."
"Promise?"
"Yeah. KC's gonna want to take care of you."
"No. She has a daughter to look after, she doesn't need more work."
"She'd like to, Kens. I have a feeling she won't take no for an answer. She usually doesn't when it comes to you."
"I guess that's fair, I do it to her."
He nodded. "I know."
"I could stay with my mum?"
"You could stay with me. I could help KC with the baby and I could sit with you if she needed to be with Alina."
Kensi smiled. "You sure?"
"If you'd like."
"Yes. I would love too. Thank you."

"Yeah, darlin'. I'll send her in." He walked out to where KC was talking to Sam and Callen. "She wants you again."
KC nodded. "Okay." She kissed Callen's cheek. "Please be careful." If someone would hurt Kensi, they wouldn't hesitate to hurt Callen as well. She disappeared into Kensi's room again.
